The Art Fund Summer Garden Party
Simon Brett, highly successful detective writer (the Charles Paris, Mrs Pargeter and Fethering series) and playwright (The Hitchhiker’s Guide To The Galaxy, After Henry, I’m Sorry I Haven’t A Clue) will open The Art Fund Summer Garden Party in the outstanding gardens of Glynde Place.

Come and join us for afternoon tea while jazz musicians from the award-winning Guildhall School of Music will entertain us during the afternoon. The Food & Wine Court will feature local suppliers and producers. Guests will also be able to take a tour of the magnificent Jacobean House.

The ‘Bonhams Roadshow’ team of experts will be joined by celebrity ceramics expert, John Sandon. They will be delighted to give their valued opinion on your own antique items. (This will be on a first come basis, so please bear this in mind to avoid disappointment).

David Verey, Chairman of The Art Fund Board of Trustees will announce the winners of the Grand Draw, featuring many exclusive prizes, on the day. The Summer Garden Party opens at 2.30pm until 5.30pm.

The Art Fund is an independent charity committed to saving art for everyone to enjoy. They help museums and galleries to buy works of all kinds; paintings, jewellery, linens, books and much more. For more information on The Art Fund visit
